'artisan - (of food or drink) made in a traditional or non-mechanized way using high-quality ingredients.'
In other words, it's made with love, by hand, by us .. real people, using real good stuff!!
That means we flavour our kombucha with as much seasonal, fresh produce as we can find, most of which comes from our own permaculture farm here in the beautiful Bega Valley. If we aren't growing it then we look to other local, regenerative growers to see what they have available.
Some of our seasonal kombucha flavour sensations have included ...

... to name just a few. Part of the fun is you'll never know what we'll be flavouring with next ... coz neither do we!!
ALL of the ingredients that go into making our raw kombucha brew are 'certified organic'. All of the fresh produce that we use to flavour our kombucha comes from our own farm and is grown within a regenerative, permaculture system, none of which has been sprayed with herbicides, pesticides and/or fungicides. Any produce that we use during the second fermentation stage that we receive from other growers is local (to us) and has also been grown ethically and responsibly and without the use of herbicides, pesticides, and fungicides.
Because we only use the highest quality fresh, local, seasonal produce during our second fermentation stage, we believe the taste of our kombucha really is second to none. We therefore have no need to add highly processed sweeteners to make our end-product palatable, which is what you'll find in many commercial kombucha bottles.
We would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, the Yuin People, on whose land Faraway Farm is situated.
We pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging.
